Teaching children about money is an essential part of the mathematics curriculum. So, we've put together this site to help you to find resources, and download some we have pre-selected.
We're trying to compile a list of suitable maths resources for primary and special needs children.
With all these free teaching resources, should you buy teaching resources?
There are more and more quality resources being put on the internet for free, some are used as advertising for the company who have made it, and others because they have received grants to make resources for clusters of schools. However, these are in the minority, and unfortunately the very demanding work time / free time ratio faced by teachers mean that you simply don't have time to track down teaching resources around the internet and buying resources means .
There are however, lots of poorly made resources by companies where the director, and / or employees have not set foot in a classroom and can't produce classroom resources with suitable user interfaces. Therefore, I'll strongly advise you to look around before committing your departments budget to such resources.
